SFC Mountain Journal | September 2015

We’re searching for a generation…and you can help!

Every year each Fall, young people from around the world pack up their belongings, buy airline tickets, and try find their way through the mess and excess so commonly found among Canadian resort and mountain towns.

As you read, resort towns are beginning to fill with young adults from Australia, Sweden, the UK, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, Switzerland, Norway, and Czech Republic; young people looking for snow and a party or two.

Would you join us in prayer RIGHT NOW? Stop what you’re doing and pray that these young people would cross paths with someone who would point them to Jesus. We believe Jesus when he said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”

Pray for SFC Canada as we seek to connect Christians from resort & mountain towns all across Canada. We want to encourage them in the mission of being a light on the hill, resource them as best we can, and share together in the joys and shadows of ministry inside of ski & snowboard culture.

Pause, read the rest later, and pray now.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”
Colossians 4:2-4
